Cowbirds, Cuckoos and other parasites with Hannah Scharf

I spoke with Hannah Scharf, currently in her 5th year studying the relationships between Brown-headed Cowbirds and their hosts, as a Ph.D. Candidate in Evolution, Ecology, and Behavior, in the "Cowbird Lab" at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Hannah is using avian brood parasites and their hosts to study social behavior, information use, recognition, and a lot about their preferred host, the Prothonorary Warbler. Cowbirds need love too!
